You could get higher performance potential PCIe v4 NVMe for basically price of that SN750.

(potential because performance differences likely wouldn't show much any over sub £200 WD Blue SN550)

Patriot would have actually little faster latency kit for £20 less:

And with AMD's quite honest TDPs already Alpenfohn Brocken 3 would be very good for over £55 less.

Also do you need that Wifi?
If not, there are perfectly good cheaper boards.

I'd be tempted to get a cheaper psu too, as with any gold+ rated psu I don't think it'll really add much to the overall noise of the system and the efficiency would still be fine. Browsing what's actually in stock it's a bit of a pain trying to find a decent psu at a decent price atm, but what about this:

Seasonic Focus range is meant to be decent, and still platinum rated so not too shabby. At £140 it's saving you £65 too.
Think what I'd actually go for though is an XPG core reactor 750W though (not sold by ocuk). Gold rated, and seems to be reviewed well. Built a system with one a little while ago and it's worked well! Would be half the price of your original psu too.

I personally have a Super Flower Leadex III ARGB 750W PSU in my PC powering a Ryzen 5800X and RTX 3080. Unfortunately out of stock atm or I would recommend that.

Storage wise given nvme drives are so fast I would cut another £115 by getting a 2TB WB Blue rather than black, unless your use case means you think the difference will be noticeable.

Looks like that RAM should fit under the cooler, but may have to install the front fan in a slightly raised position to make sure it's not touching!

Cooler-wise personally I went with the D15s just to give me more options with less worrying about compatibility, particularly if reused in future builds (at the expense of slightly reduced performance) , but D15 still seems to be a good choice. Don't think there's any need to get the chromax version if your case doesn't have a window though! AFAIK the only difference between the normal and chromax version is that it's black.

Case-wise I like the look of the silent base 802 as well, maybe also consider a Fractal Design Meshify 2 Compact if you don't need as much space for ssd/hdds? I have a previous generation one (window version so I can see the goodies inside though :p) and am happy with it. Not designed as a 'silent' case, but due to decent airflow the Fans don't need to run too hard so it's not too noisy. Saw quite a positive review of the meshify 2 compact, so seems it is indeed 'improved' as well as being new. I did consider the be quiet 500 case too at one point (which is designed with noise dampening etc) but decided restricted airflow might be a bit of an issue with higher power components.

Thanks.

I've changed to the WD blue, also rethinking the PSU. I was just looking for a quiet cooler, D15 would be cooler with less fan rpm?

Now to hope for a 3060 or 3070 from a OCuk voucher :(

Was about to order but I don't see any way to pick a delivery day, I need a specific day for work reasons. Is it always next day delivery, so just order the day before?

Post in the customer services section. Im sure OC will be able to sort that out for you.

Built the above system with some minor changes and my old gtx970. (thanks OCuk).

I used the D15S as recommended and memory installation was a breeze. The only thing I messed up was not attaching 3 power cables to the motherboard, since when does a mb need 3 power cables?! My PSU is pretty full with the mb, gpu and 1 sata drive.

The system is super quiet, the only thing audible is the cpu fan, I need to mess around with the fan curve.

Got one of those in my personal system too. The more you tighten it the better the temps (up to the point it won't post because it's too tight lol). Maybe it's just down to how concave or convex each unit's baseplate is.
