So caught some pins on my 5800x in trying to straighten one of the pins snapped off ( sometimes can get lucky) In my case I wasn't and doesn't boot.... Is it worth to get repaired or sell as spares or repair... Not the end of the world for me as have am5 as main rig but was sorting out a pc for a family member

that would all depend on your plans for the CPU, if you want to use it and are happy paying for the repair go for it, if you just wanting to see it... id say no

Ive ordered some spare pins off ebay, hopefully can get it working again. Was tyring to find the correct pin layout diagram for the 5800x. There is some I've found but not sure what the exact one I'm looking at.

Looks like you need a "hot air smd rework station" for this type of job.

This video should give you a idea what to do and what to expect.

Yeah I've seen a few videos, even some just laying the pin in the socket without soldering and still work

It would be the socket pin out you need. That’s will show you what pins are used in the socket. NC pins are no contact
