Hey all, doing a partial upgrade (7900XT, 5800X3D, 32GB RAM) to replace my 5700XT, 3700X and 16GB 3200 RAM.

I've already ordered GPU and CPU and instead of adding 2 more 8GB RAM sticks I'd like to replace my existing ones with 2x16GB low profile sticks as my cooler is the Noctua D14.

The RAM compatibility page on MSI's page is a mess so I thought I'd ask here just to be sure on what's my best option.

Should I aim for 3200, 3600 or it doesn't really matter? Are the Corsair LPX decent? What would you recommend? Perhaps 32GB is not needed for gaming?

5800X3D don't care too much about RAM speed, I would buy some cheap 3600 C16 sticks and maybe overclock them a bit..
It's probably worth having a look at the member's market to try and get something a bit cheaper? 3600MHz CL16 is considered the sweet spot for the Ryzen 5000 series, any higher speeds or lower latencies are a bonus if you can achieve them (depending on what infinity fabric speeds your CPU can reach to maintain a 1:1 ratio with the memory).

Hmm I can't seem to find any 3600 C16, only C18?
