So I have bought one of the 5800x3d that have reduced in in price, replaced cpu and get to windows with a blue screen...so thought I will install windows 10 again thinking that was the problem, windows 10 starts to install and pc reboots will not complete the install.....replaced back with my 5600x and everything works fine again has anyone got any ideas thanks.
Spec of PC and what i have done
x570 aorus elite board
32 gb of ryzen optimised corsair rgb pro sl
aorus master 3070ti
Capellix 360 corsair aio
980pro nvme
Corsair 850 rmx power supply

I have installed the latest bios for board cleared cmos
Set xmp/docp to on and also tried it without
Enabled tpm and disabled it
Reseated cpu and re paste

Any ideas would be grateful I personally thought it would be a straight swap as I done that numerous times with the 5800/5900 and 5950 without any problems.
Thanks

I had blue screen issues when I first got the 5600X. The PC would randomly crash at any time in Windows.

The key change was that I added new RAM, the new RAM from an online retailer was the issue.

I used Memtest 86 on a USB stick to test the RAM in Bios, to test you need to boot from the USB and test the RAM. If it shows errors, this may be the culprit.

However, worse case, you could be facing a faulty memory controller on the 5800X3D. But that usually prevents memory channel use or no boot-up.

RAM, you can RMA as I believe it should have lifetime or 10-year guarantee. The CPU should have 3-years.

I suppose, you can test if CPU has a faulty memory controller by replacing the 5800X3D (check it for bent pins) and replace it with old 5600X and see if the blue screens disappear.

Faulty vcache. Seems to be happening a lot on 5800x3d
