So I finally set up the new PC yesterday. Here are the specs:

Mobo: MSI X99A SLI Plus
CPU: Intel Core i7 5820K
Cooler: Corsair H100i GTX 240mm
RAM: Team Group 16GB DDR4 2400MHz (4x4 sticks)
GPU: Sapphire R9 295x2
Storage: 3x SSDs (120GB, 500GB and 1TB)
Sound: Creative SB Z
Case: Zalman H1 Full Tower Case
PSU: OCZ ZX Series 1250W Fully modular PSU

At the moment it's all running on stock. I did try to do some quick basic overclock (not using the turbo feature) and each time the system wouldn't boot or would crash before getting into Windows.

I just need someone to give me some step-by-step guide on how to overclock this badboy. What settings do I use, what not to touch, etc. I have had a look online and while no one uses this particular board, there's no clear cut explanation (that I can understand anyway) on how to overclock the CPU. Visual guides would be handy so I can see exactly what needs to be done!

Bear in mind, it has been a good 6 and a half years since I last did any proper overclocking. Given that I was on an Intel Core i7 920 D0 for that long!

Thanks for the help peeps! :)

PS. I am currently at work so won't be able to do some testing until later this evening!
