hey guys im getting really bad stuttering at the start of games.

doesnt matter what game it is

it only lasts for about 30 seconds then stops

doesnt matter if its single player or multiplayer

ive tried lowering settings, res etc but the problem remains

have an athlon x3

hd 5830

4gb ram

be quiet psu 530

Any ideas what it could be?

Someone said that it could be the clocks going up and down (powerplay?)

May be it's HDD problem that causing it to lag a bit when it loads stuffs? What HDD you using, and when's the last time you defragged it?

For graphic card have you tried to use a different driver?

I get stutter on BFBC2 on some maps, really bad for a few seconds... after that it is fine.

I dont worry about it. I just think its the maps buffering.

I do not have an ssd however.

What games is this affecting you in?

Also use the latest drivers as much as possible.

It solves more problems than it potentially creates... run in to a problem, go back a version untill next update.

Ok i picked up a cheap 1090T last night and the same thing remains

Still stuttering

So it cant be the CPU bottlenecking

Any other ideas guys

Thanks

Its driving me mad now lol.

Someone told me to disable powerplay on the card but i have no idea how to

Any ideas how i can do that?
