Hello, having increased my 5850 overclock to around 950/1100 (1.2v @ 20 idle to 44 degrees load ) with afterburner, which im happy with. I am having a slight problem with afterburner not going to 2d clocks, aparently the fix is to edit the cards bios, but pretty much afterburner sets overclocks to 3d clocks for 24/7.
So is it 'cool' to have a 2d profile and 3d profile and just load up the 3d profile when gaming, i was just abit concerned about altering the clocks/volts on such a regular basis.
Running the 5850 at full 3d clocks woudnt be the end of the wold, but as my comp is idle for some time it would be nice to be able to switch, so if anyone has a, yes you will be fine or, god no you will kill us all.. would be nice piece of mind thanks
