Hi,

I've currently got a 8800gtx and want to just upgrade the graphics card and was thinking of the ati 5850.

According to ati/amd website it needs a 500w psu minimum.
I've currently got a corsair HX520W. Although it meets the minimum W it doesn't meet the requirements according to this list of compatible psu's:

http://ati.amd.com/products/certified/powersupplies.html#pstop

Seemingly it only supports 4870 tops (although i thought 5850 used less juice than the 4870)

Rest of system is:
E6750
1xDiskdrive
2xHD
5 case fans

You reckon i can use my current psu or is it a no go? (really dont want to upgrade)

Thanks :)

Great, thanks m8.
And while i'm here will it work ok with my old mobo its a P35 chipset?
And will my E6750 bottleneck it to much? Its moderately overclocked.

thanks
