5850 crossfire question

My brother has a Sapphire 5850 that he barely uses and I also have a Sapphire 5850 that I am currently using for Battlefield 3.

I would like to upgrade to a 5850 crossfire setup and was thinking of just popping my brothers 5850 into my machine to see how BF3 runs. The problem is I only have a 530W Hiper Type M PSU, peak power 580w and about 19A on each 12v rail.

Would this PSU be sufficient to run the 5850 xfire for 10 mins or so to test it out quickly?

Thanks for any advice.

I doubt 456W on the 12V rails is enough to power that setup and Hiper PSU's have been known to go pop.

You may get away with it and usually if you don't have enough power the system just won't work properly.

Ultimately you do it at your own risk.
