5850 installation with Nvidia drivers?

Hey guys

My 8800GTS died last week so I've bought a used 5850 from mm. I presume it won't be a problem if I just plug it in, boot and remove the old drivers and then install the new ones? Because my old card died I didn't get a chance to remove the old drivers.
