5850 problems?

Hi all,

Just wondering if my 5850 has some underlying issues? Sometimes the pc will just go to a black lined screen and needs a reboot to right itself?

the std drivers and bios lower the 2D clock speeds too much leading to instability. Try installing the 9.12 hotfix driver, it ups the 2D clock speed and solved all my similar issues. Oh if your running a pretty maxed out CPU OC then you might need to retest this for stability, several people have reported that max cpu oc's have gone down with using 58xx cards.
 
I don't know whether it's because everyone has these cards, or because ATI screwed up powerplay somewhere, but there are a hell of a lot of people experiencing problems.

Thanks for the replies guys, I'll give the newest drivers a go, and then follow up with the hotfix if theres no improvement :)
