5850 Question

I currently have a 19" monitor with 1280 x 1024. I was planning to get a 5770 but I do plan on getting a 22" monitor soon after and play games on 1920x1080.
So would it been fine to get the 5850 and play it on the 19" for a while until i get the 22".

Yep, I had a 5850 on a 19" 1280x1024 monitor before, PII 940, 4GB DDR2.

It would definitely laugh at your 19" I could play everything on extreme max settings with full AA and have a heck of a lot of room left.

Then I moved to a 27" 1920x1080 and everything seemed right on the use for it
