5850 temps info

whats are people temps as mine is around 51 c on idle with auto fan is that okay

Mine is 36 c idle with 34 % fan. In games it is around 60 c with 34 % fan still.

yeah my card still peeks around 60ish in gaming i just thought it was abit hot for idle but it might be my sound card adding to the temp which is directly above it but its a realy small 1 and it has a fan on and it cant be my case as its got 6 120 fans and a 140

damn i dont no what i can do ive dropped it to 47c but i removed my sound card but i need to put it back in anyone got any ideas

Turn auto fan off and leave it at 40 % or something.

I have a 120mm fan right underneath the intake for mine, blowing air up into the case's main chamber so I think that helps a lot.

ive got 2 120mm fans on the side blowing air in, 1 120mm at the back of the case at the blowing out,140 mm on top of the case pulling air out , 1 120 fan at the front blowing in and above that 2 120 mm fans on each side of h50 grill blowing in to the case

Idle: 35-40c (auto fan)
Load: Crysis Warhead 60c (auto fan)
Load: ATitool artifact scanner 65-70c (auto fan)

you could download msi afterburner and you can configure the automatic fun to run higher at certain temperatures, that will drop the temps

Whats the max temperature for a 5850? I leave the fan at 40 % throughout the day and when gaming.

ill increase the fan to 40% and is there any problems with doing this in the long run like the fan burning out
