Hi all,
It is time to upgrade my trusty but ageing 5850 graphics card. I was going to upgrade to a Gigabyte 7950 windforce 3 just as I have always seemed to have had AMD/ATI cards.
I was looking at the 7950 as I thought it provided good value for money and also if down the line I upgrade monitor and go beyond my current 1920x1200 resolution I thought the extra memory may come in handy.
However I read a lot of things about issues with the 7950 and WoW and all though these are on older drivers I don't know if the issues were resolved with more recent drivers as I can't find anything to support it, I guess people only post when things are wrong.
WoW isn't the only game I play but does take up a lot of my gaming time so I do want something that can run it well.
So do I take the plunge and order the 7950 or would I be better with a similar priced NVIDIA card.
The rest of the system is:-
CPU: Intel Core i5 4670K Haswell Quad Core CPU Overclocked to 4.4GHz
Motherboard: Gigabyte Z87-D3HP (Socket 1150) DDR3 Motherboard
RAM: Kingston Genesis 8GB 1600MHz Dual Channel
