5850s, when do they return?

Hi,

Long story short, i plan to order the titan goliath gaming pc on the 1st december (around that time) and was wondering will there be more 5850s in stock by then? so i can choose that as the graphics card option

NEVER ! there is few powercolor around if u look around as there batch came today. saphire should be in stock 26th. asus and others in december

rumour has it stock will start to appear throughout December, with better availability in Jan.

I find this whole 58** availablity situation ridiculous, reminds me of when the ati X800XT-PE was due to be released (I think it was that one), they were as rare as hens teeth, but iirc the lack of vidcards didn't last as long as this debacle. I've heard its the manufacturers themselves not making enough gpus so when the X2 versions come out, they'll be snapped up due to ppl's impatience, then its the foundry screwing things up, then its nvidia booking time at the foundry to stall the manufacture or the the 58** cards. And this coming from someone who has a 5850, impulse buy but worth it for me anyway.
