5870 + Alienware AW2310 problem

Hi guys,

I have a ATI 5870 and a Alienware AW2310, after about a month of owning the monitor i sometimes get strange problems.

The monitor randomly goes black and after a while the picture comes back. It keeps doing it at random moments.

Anybody know what could cause it, I have checked the connections on the DVI cable and there both secure

Are you sure its that combination? or maybe just the monitor is a bit dodgy?

well i don't know if its my graphics card or my monitor , thats why i am posting in here to see if anybody has a similar problem!. I'll mess around with monitor settings later, and check the graphic temps when gaming *edit* apprently it is due to ati driver 10.4
