5870 Colour Adjustments is it normal

Hi,

Just purchased a Saphire 5870 from OC very happy with the service thank you.

It makes my monitor a bit too bright, is fine with my 4850.

Have adjusted the colour desktop properties in the Catalyst Control Center
to Gamma : 0.09 Brightness : -2 and contrast :95

But still not 100% happy with the settings.


Never had to do this with any other video card I have had.

Should I be worried.

Did you just swap the cards over without reinstalling the drivers by any chance?

Hi,

No i did un-install the driver I had on my Windows 7.

Then installed this driver

there maybe a monitor driver available for your monitor, might have a color file for it, i think my samsung has one installed.
