5870 Crossfire Frame Dip Issue!

Okay well I have a pair of 5870's and before i installed the second I removed all drives and then ran driver sweeper to get rid of the hidden files.

After the second card was put it, the latest drivers were installed and crossfire was enabled.

The problem is that in games im getting just fine FPS (around 65-70 in Crysis 2 DX11 Ultra settings 1920x1200) but if i turn sharply i often get a major dip in FPS to around 10-15 FPS and it isnt just Crysis 2, it does it in pretty much all games?

Thanks, Greg

Not got a lot of experience in reference to crossfire but i would probably recommend trying different version drivers in to see if there is a performance increase or not or the same issue.

If trying other drivers you are still experiencing the problem you could safely say this may rule out that being the issue.

I have the same problem with 6950 cf. I've found that looking a surfaces close up causes drops too? But for the most I get 70+. I also tried using fear profile on radeonpro but no effect.
