5870 crossfire Help

I have installed an another 5870 but on startup I got a complete bios reset all my OC settings gone and the 2nd card has got a code43 error

I have had please install your amd/ati driver to newest version pop up as well which I did,In device manager both the driver versions are different one is saying 8.820 and the other 8.812 is this my problem,can i do a windows re-install with out having to go the full clean install

Got them both on the same driver version in device manager but cant get CCC to start or or even show up on my system,I do have 3x5870's but only using 2 and all 3 being in the 2nd slot have the same error

Have you done a clean install of the latest driver? Uninstall, boot into safe mode, driver sweeper, CCleaner, Registry Cleaner, install driver and profiles?

I have tried driver sweeper,reg cleaner etc and in safe mode..I did notice in safe mode I can see both cards activated but as soon as I restart it comes back with this code 43 error

Also in safe mode i constantly get update your drivers as the display drivers is having problems or no drivers installed

Try removing and swapping your USB devices. I know it sounds strange but someone had this problem yesterday but with a GTX 460. He done this and it sorted his problem.

Ended up doing a clean windows install,so far the crossfire has been recognized in ccc and in device manager,I have not got round to re-installing any games to see if its 100% okay. Need to do my cpu overclock etc as well when the bios got reset.

lol That's what I usually advise last as most people think climbing Everest is a less daunting task.

An update and looking for some more info... Tested Left4dead2 with settings maxed and with my usuall ccc tweaks and noticed while online my FPS has now no min/max just max lol 60fps

3dmark11 scores

3830 to 5942...ccc tweaks on
4280 to 6129...ccc tweaks off


This is the bit I need some help with, in ccc I get no readings for the 2nd card temp/gpu clock speed etc and i cant manually set the fan, all i see is fan speed, It lets me move the OC bar/settings but not sure if it is working

Is there software better equiped to moniter both cards usage,temps and for overclocking
