yes that right u cant use 3 monitors with dvi even with dongles i have tried.
tried using hdmi dongle display port dongles no go. ppl have messaged ati.

Yes, you are correct, there is no way some one with three monitors with dvi only ports on them can use eyefinity for a tri monitor set up. The display port to display port is required.

so dont buy a ati 5870 thinking u can use your 3 dvi monitors. u need 1 display port monitor to work. :( what a load of ????

i hope so even if i have to buy a diffrent dongle has to be better than selling a monitor i have had 5 months for the same monitor with displayport.
