All of a sudden my PC appears to be crashing during general use such as Web Browsing and in Games....
Spec:
Intel i7 930 @ 3.6Ghz
6GB Ram
HD 5870 not o/c'd
Corsair TX 650w
Basically what tends to happen is when doing anything after a series of time the PC screen goes black with almost a series of black static washed out columns running the length of the screen. In the background if there is music/sound being played that continues for a period of time before completely crashing.
Happened for the first time last night when playing Just Cause 2 and seems to be consistently doing so since then
Since it seems to be happening intermittently I don't know whether I'll have a problem with an RMA or not, hard to tell if it's not apparent right away. Temps on the card appear to be fine and I have rolled back to previous Cat drivers to no avail
