i've recently replaced my old gtx280 with a brand new HD 5870 PCS++ from PowerColor (950/1200 on default)
card is running fine... for a time. after 20-30 minutes i start getting these annoying freezes when the action stops, screen goes blank, but then after 10 seconds everything comes back up... weird. thought it maybe the card was overheating but no, its at 55-60C at max.
when i set the fan manually to 50% and temps didnt go above 50C the freezes still happened (DAO, ME2, AP, Dirt2)...
few forums suggested flashing the BIOS because of the faulty voltages set by Ati, other think its a Windows 7 update bug and some others blame the Catalyst drivers...
anyone having the same problems?
