5870 strange issue, is it faulty?

Hi Guys

Got a 5870 1gb in my machine, in desktop it works perfectly (movies, YouTube) as soon as I load a game (CSS, Bad Company) it will play for a while then the screen goes green or blank (Black) and I can hear the game but not play anything

Tried

• New and old drivers
• Full safe mode driver clean
• Its not over clocked
• Looks fine when inspected visually

Got a 5870XFX and from a mate and popped it in and thats fine, heaven bench etc all completes normally

Is the card faulty do we think? Outside of the 2 year warranty so

No dust sorry hoovered that out too, not sure about temps as its out now, although speedfan wasn't reporting dangerous temps

i bought my misses a 9800gt last year as her 8800gts died and on arrival it was screwed... i had to bake it to get it to work...

i dont trust ebay for components
