My camera currently is a Canon Powershot S2 IS.

I can get this kit for £14 delivered and insured from Hong Knog.

Plus with the adapter means i can get some other lens on there that i so need.

Ive got a very similar set for my Konica Minlta Dimage Z3, and it does the trick perfectly well. The hood is little annoying though, as if its used with a filter, it causes slight vignetting when the camera is at wide angle. Other then that, you can't really go wrong for £14

I had that set on my previous camera, the tube is nowhere near the same quality as lensmate and tolerances are quite large, but after few tries it does click into place properly and it's aluminium, so at that price it's not that bad. The petal hood is non entity in this set - cheap, ugly painted plastic thing with uneven layers of silverish paint especially visible around edges, but then again, I guess it beats covering lense with hand. Kenko UV filter is more of a lens protector than anything special, keeps dust away - that sort of thing. I bought my set for £6.99 incl delivery from fleabay though, so it was all in all good bang for buck.

It £6.99 and £4.99 P+P, then insurance is £1.99.
£13.97 all in really.

I think i will get it. I got the camera cheap as i worked for Canon, Idealy i want to upgrade to a proper Digital SLR so this will do to add some value and play with it

If it's filters you want 52mm tube and filters will be cheaper.
58mm is neccessary if you plan to buy wide angle converters (52mm suffers from severe vignetting) and 58mm filters can be carried over to SLR...

I've ordered it now and paid for it. Ideal if 58mm fits slr as i will be converting over in due corse when i get one cheap.

I want a fish eye lens for my sports action shots, a wide angle and a telephoto too

It came today. Very happy with it. The 58mm tube is a bit lose and not rock soild but it went on like a glove. I love it. Been messing loads with it. Next will be wide angle, teli photo and a fish eye to give the curved shots for my ridding. Getting to look a bit of a pro now too what with my tripod too. Paid £14 for the lens hood thing and £13 for my tri pod. That fleebay has it's pros and cons! Have to thank the missis for ordering it on her account.

Don't be tempted by cheap super wide angle converters (Aico and such), quality of most of them is just horrible, loads of frindging and extremely soft on the edges. Canon's own WC-DC58A is by no means SLR quality but it is miles ahead of the chippies...
