Have I done something wrong or is it working as intended? my CCD2 seems a bit lame and is not doing much it doesn’t boost as high as CCD1 and doesn’t seem to get worked as much as CCD1, it boosts to about 4775mhz where as CCD1 boosts to between 4900-5100mhz

Iirc, the rumour is that on the 3900x (so I'd assume the 5900x is the same) one ccd is a good defective die and the second is a bad defective die based on binning...

It could be a lame duck?

Definitely what went on with the 3900X, one good and one weaker die was the norm.

I'd be surprised if the 5900X wasn't the same but early reports seemed to suggest the dies were similar.

I've got a 5900X arriving later so I'll see what mines like.
