Guys,

Is this good for an overclock?

5930k
4.6GHZ
@ 1.141 Core Voltage
6 hour test : 62c

This is under Water with a EK 240mm Block

Regards

most 5930k's require about 1.3v for 4.5ghz so yes that is very good indeed. mines at 1.24v for 4.5ghz and 1.335v for 4.7ghz. So quite a golden chip there. That temperature looks very good aswell.

Yes I got 6 hours from it...before my PC shut down automatically and hasn't given me any errors.

will run again tonight to ensure I didn't miss anything, it did BSOD at 1.135 Volts so I guess I couldn't get it any better.

If its stable for the OP's uses no need to do any more stability testing!! just use and have fun.

For general use I like Whyscotty's style of testing. Real bench is real world apps.

Absolutely, just use your computer normally, 24 hours of prime95 is pointless, I like to run it for a short while just to test out different O/C settings to see if they've worked. It's a good place to start, if your system isn't 90%+ stable, prime will let you know in 10 mins.
