5950X and PBO

Just finalising RAM timings to get things stable on my new 5950X.

Once done though I’d like to look at PBO, are there any caveats that I should be aware of before enabling it?

Think there are multiple PBO tiers on my ROG Strix X570-F Gaming.

CPU is running under an AIO.

Just watched a 30 min video on how to use it and it looks a lot more complicated than the old PBO that I used on my 2700X.

May just put it on hold for a bit and use the PC for what it’s designed for instead.

Thanks for that. It’s the time consuming bit that’s the only issue really.

Will finally settle on RAM timings tonight but it looks like to do PBO2 proper justice it could take days of testing, and I just don’t have the time for that at present.

Looks fairly straightforward, albeit very time intensive due to stress testing for stability.

I will have a play around with it at some point I’m sure, but will probably try to eek a little more out of my RAM this weekend. Thought I was happy with it but think there’s a little left in the tank still. Such is the way!
