Hi guys.
Having a real head scratching moment here.
I've had this CPU for a long time, not changed anything in my rig of late which would give me any cause for concern. But for some reason out of the blue when I run any benchmark now, whether it be any 3dmark test, CPUz stress/benchmark etc my CPU core clocks seem to get stuck at 3325mhz @ 1.037v. What I don't understand is if I then play any game, all the cores go back to behaving as normal running in the range of 4.65ghz - 4.9ghz using the full 1.4v. Go back to running a benchmark of any sort and they return to stock frequency and refuse to budge anywhere past 3325mhz @ 1.037v again. I've updated the bios as there was a new one but still the same. What is causing this issue do you think? I've never seen this odd behaviour before.
I've got everything left at auto in the bios since flashing it, only thing I've changed is to run an XMP profile again. Any ideas, this is so weird.
