have just setup my new system
I have a 5960 with a rampage v extreme board 16gb corsair dominator 3000mhz mem
ist overclock 4500 36x 125 strap cpu v 1.26250v every thing else on auto
idle is 36c max temp on stress is 71c running stable
next clock 37x 4625mhz 125 strap cpu 129062v rest on auto temp on idle 39c on stress max temp 75c running stable
38x 4750 cpu 1.32187v boots to windows then says when stressing whea uncorrectable error
I assume this cpu wont go that high
cooling is a quad rad and a 360 rad 2x d5 and raystorm pro waterblock
my last x99 system was a evga classified so not used to the bois setings on this asus board cpu is j batch
any help to tweak the cpu seting would be appreciated would say 4500 would be my everyday clock is there any settings to change to make better
I think the cpu will go to 4750 but not sure what settings to use, ideas?
does the volts and temps seem ok any help would be great
