5970(ebay related)

If its two months after then its no longer your responsiblity as anything could have been done to the card. Tbh if i have solde some a electronic item on ebay unless they dispute it straight away, as in they received the item broken or that sort of thing, after that period i straight off dont believe people because they could have done anything to the product that i dont know about? especially if its a graphics card cause the person could have messed up a watercooling setup or volt modded the card or somthing along those lines.

Powercolor are literally non existent when it comes to RMAs in Europe, thats why OCUK dont sell there products anymore.

Club 3D/VTX/Powercolor are the same company unless I'm very much mistaken, and they still sell those cards. I can't help but feel in Europe they might be changing the Powercolor name to Club 3D/VTX due to poor reputation.

EDIT: though to be fair it looks like the only VTX cards are the 'own brand' cards, so I guess OCUK handle the RMAs themselves.

Get RMA number. Give RMA number to buyer + address.

Once you receive replacement, send back to him, and I'm sure on receipt he'll be so happy will be willing to pay the £x you invoice him. Or if you want, take payment before you send back.

I always state I'd be willing to facilitate an RMA within the RMA window. Helps get higher bids and I've never had an RMA request yet.

This.

I've told the story before but Powercolor ignored my RMA request for a dead X850XT PE. When I contacted the retailer I just got told to contact Powercolor, but they couldn't give me a phone number or anything, just the same benign email.

And in before the "but it's only an X850XT PE" - well this was in 2005, and the card in question was still selling for £400.

They'll never get my money again, scamming scumbags.
