5970 HDMI help!

I just bought a new 42" HD Tv and want to connect my 5970 to it via HDMI. How do I do this? I have the dongle thing that connects to the mini display port - what do I need next?

Would I be better off with DVI for both gaming/blu-ray?

What about 1900*1200 vs 1080p in games on the 42" screen - will using DVI affect anything like that?

Sorry, probably being very dumb - but dont want to miss out on anything obvious or drastic!

Edit: Nevermind - realised I dont have a DVI connector on the TV!

So, back to OcUK Value Mini DisplayPort to HDMI Adapter ?

Or a HDMI to DVI Video Adapter (AV54007)?

Using either DVI or HDMI won't affect picture quality, though TVs usually only have HDMI ports (simple DVI-HDMI adapter will solve this).

You'll need to use 1920x1080 instead of 1920x1200 for your TV.
