Okay so I've finally finished my new computer (:D) but there's 3 major issues affecting it;

1) Games. I forked out over a grand for two xfx 5970's and I can't play any! When it starts the graphics are either slewed everywhere or it BSOD's and that's that. I have the latest drivers etc.

2)The home screen. Unfortunately I still only have a rubbish 19" Samsung tv. And windows 7 won't fully expand the screen (I'm left with about an inch of 'black' below the taskbar) and there's no correct resolution for it. Any workarounds?

3)Audio. I have none. Pretty simple, but pretty disappointing too.

I've raked around the internet but no cigar, so I thought I may as well try my luck here...

Cheers,

AJ

We'll need more info on pretty much everything before being able to say what's up.

Full PC spec?
Adequate power supply?
Why Quad crossfire on a 19" screen?
Latest drivers?
Are you trying to get sound over HDMI? If so then you need to go into control panel and set your audio device to the ati HD, not onboard.

you got the newest drivers for your mobo?

The CD claimed not to work with 64 bit windows, and I'm not shelling out £20 for driver detective.

Okay here goes;

Intel 920 (stock for now)
2x5970's
1200w PSU ( more than adequate)
Asus P6T7
10.4 Catalyst drivers

I ran out of money basically. Lost my temp position, downhill from there.

I'm using a DVI cable.

Cheers
