5970 Replacement?

Hi Chaps,

I am looking to replace my ATI 5970, its still in great condition but some games are starting to struggle and I want to get a Nvidia for Physx and TXAA etc...

At the moment I am looking to get a 780 but should I wait for the 780 Ti to be released and then pick up a cheaper 780?

I play at 1920 x 1080 but I will be getting an Oculus Rift at some point so thats why I am leaning towards the 780 rather than the 770.

What do you suggest, should I wait a while for a cheaper 780 or are the prices already quite cheap atm (I know Nvidia reduced the price with the announcement of the 780 Ti).

What do you guys recommend?

I am not buying AMD I want Physx and TXAA etc... Hence the question which 780 I should purchase.
