5970 xfire question?

I believe AMD reccomend a 650watt PSU for a 4870x2. A good quality 600watt should be ok if you dont overclock too mad or have loads of extra drives 'n stuff. Dont hold me to that though:)
 
You should be okay but it is a little near the knuckle. One of the more important things is the quality of the psu.

The funny thing being, all this talk of quad fire not being worth it, if I managed to grab another 4870X2 on the cheap, I'd give it a whirl just for the hell of it, experimenting etc. :D
