Hey,
I've recently started using a new workstation that contains a 5975WX.
The company who built the machine carried out stress testing using AIDA64. And sent images showing the temps.
We've installed Ubuntu, and have carried out mPrime tests and monitored the CPU using CPU-X.
I've seen the temps reach 95.25c, then thermal throttling comes into play.
However, AIDA64 never detects above 65c... BUT, if I change it to CPU Diode, it does.
Have they used the wrong sensor readings when carrying out their tests? I think they have. (CPU is the thermal spreader temp?, CPU Diode is the actual core temp?)
