hi there could you check something please guys
with the lock switch on the rear
with all three lock functions enabled in the menu,does the lock function on speed and aperture work in and out of the q button screen?
or can you alter the setting still within the q-menu?
could you also list the firmware your on please

Just had a play with mine.

With the lock switch on and all locks enabled, if I try and change anything, I can't and 'L' shows on the top LCD. If I use the 'Q' menu, I can alter everything as normal.

I presume thats how its supposed to behave?
As I thought the lock switch is to prevent you from accidentally knocking a switch or dial, which isn't something that happens using the Q menu.

I'm using whatever the latest firmware is.

same as mine mate (iam also on latest firmware),theres a guy on tp reporting his friends locks out the q-menu as well ,so trying to work out if its a firmware thing or a problem
iam guessing firmware

there's a guy on tp who is questioning weather his camera is faulty or not ,it behaves the same as mine and everyone else on this thread.but a mate of his when using the q-menu gets a red warning triangle and cant alter the settings(the switch also locks his q-menu)
so i asked on here to get as big a reply as poss to try and help/suss out whats going on
