well had 30 mins with my 5D and so far I am loving it. Just went to the park with my son quickly and took a few frames. below straight out of the camera with the 85mm F1.8 @ 1.8

Bought it direct from a HK seller - not the normal one on ebay. No Vat charged. Go the 5D, batt grip, extra battery, 50 F1.8, hand strap, and a hoya CP filter for £1804 delivered!! (the 5D body on its own is £1999 on the highstreet!).

Really enjoying ownership so far! Its fast & feels good. FF viewfinder is lovely to use.

Looking good :)
What camera are you upgrading from ?

I had the 20D. Sold it with the intention of getting the 30D but ended up with the 5D. To cut a long story short my main aim is to cut down the amount of lenses in my bag I need for weddings. I can now get a real wide end out of my 24-70L so I'm selling the 10-22 ef-s as its no longer needed. So I'm hoping I've got full coverage now with just the 24-70L, 85 prime and 70-200L IS.

With the £200 cashback and buying from HK you can get a 5D for not a lot more than a 30D so I think this is the best bet.

I remember now :)
Your intention is to cut down on lenses ? I bet you end up buying a 17-40L after you've sold the 10-22, for real wide angle again.
You'll also probably need a 70-200mm for longer reach :D

So far the 24 seems wide enough...I was pleasantly suprised. But I guess I'll find out on my next job. I already have the 70-200 F2.8L IS :D
