Doesn't mention anything about the AF point illumination settings that the 1DX recently got in an update (as well as the f8 AF).

They've announced new firmware, but it isn't coming for 6 months, bit silly really!

After the update for the 1DX Canon have been getting plenty of questions regarding the 5D3 and when it would be getting the update. So I guess they thought they'd just announce what is coming, seems odd that it is that far off though. Probably still in the early testing phase at the moment. They did announce the 7D in advance as well, I don't recall if it was 6 months in advance though!
