The tests look alright!
Didn't someone here get a celeron up to 4ghz once and it was still pants though? Fair enough it was a different model but... <insert performance doubt here>

well i'm not impressed. yonah on the other hand impresses me muchly. 30s @2ghz and 23s @2.7ghz.

Then again on stock volts and stock cooling the cele is still a bargin. At that speed it will easily outperform a Sempron.

I wonder if 6ghz would be possible on high end water. Maybe even pushing 7ghz on Phase?! Who knows.

i would say that over 6ghz possible on phase - 7 is pushing it lol

and yes - ive never seen a semron do 28sec

Just remember, this is a budget, low end, entry level chip, yonah will probably cost about quadruple the amount.

you can buy yonahs now from auction sites for sub 190 pounds - so thats about twice the price of the celerons (from what i can guess the celys will cost)
