5k 27" OLED soon maybe?

You wont notice the difference from 4k to 5k
I have a mighty need! it will be great for a gaming pc and my macbook when I dock and have nice scaling
I want it more so it works more nicely when I dock a mac or pc in as mac assumes you have either a 5k 27 inch screen or a 1440p screen at 27 inches

On a Mac the difference is easily noticeable.
Isn't that more due to the way Mac scales resolutions though?

Oh wait more pixels is better, higher refresh even 1ghz monitors is better, and you'll need 5090 super ti for minimum graphic settings, with DLSS on super performance and frame gen on 4x

its pretty much impossible to tell the difference from 4k to 5k on a monitor that is 27 inches. Even from 1440p to 4k is very hard at that tiny size

Nope you absolutely can on a Mac and if you’d used one on both a 4K and 5K monitor you wouldn’t be posting such nonsense.
The demand is most likely Mac owners who want a 5k 27” monitor for cheaper than an apple one
Or PC owners who doesn’t use a PC for gaming

Depends on the refresh rate as I imagine it will be 60hz. Not sure what games you play but I won't settle for 60hz browsing web pages these days.
I doubt it will be 60hz but I'm expecting 120hz min maybe 144?
