Hi,
I am looking to build a new rig around September time and am going to throw some money at it to get something that will last for 2-3 years.
I currently use the following:
I7 2600 @ 4.6 (Corsair H50 liquid cooling kit)
Gigabyte Z77 UD5 MB
4MB average ram
GTX 590 graphics
120mb ssd for games and various normal other HD (6 in total)
30'' Dell monitor
CM Cosmos S case
1200w psu
The system is 95% pure gaming.
I would like to go 3 x 30'' monitor so that sucks up roughly £2k right there but I am struggling on how to spend the rest. I'd like 2xGTX690 as i am not sure that 1 will handle 3x30'' (anyone know?) at 2500x1600 with all the candy on but with the screens that basically wipes out my budget so is it best to just to get 1 690 OR is there something else coming within say 6 months (i will wait if i have to) that is better?
Will also be wanting to upgrade the CPU but unless i got top of the range for c£800 there doesnt seem to be much difference over what i already have.
I will of course be putting memory up to 16gb.
So what the best way to get 3x30 monitors running well for my £5k ??
Thanks in advance
