5km Jogging

Hi All,

I train at the gym multiple times a week - basically 3 days on, 1 day off - repeat. My training is focused towards weights (strength training - squats, pullups, bench press etc)

My primary objective is to build strength, secondary objective is to burn fat.

However i really enjoy jogging and currently do 1 jog a week of 5-6 km in about 28 mins.

I'm thinking of increasing this to 2 or 3 times a week.

So my question is can i jog 5-6km on the same day i do weight training?

Would this have any negative impacts?

Note i'm not a body builder and not aiming for huge muscles - but also i want to make gains in terms of strength over time.
