:/

Just tried to update but now restoring due to my phone being stuck in DFU Restore mode and no combinations of home and lock button exiting it...

Annoying...lucky i had a backup just before.

Do you restore after?

I'm on a iPhone 4 restore originally on the 5 and was always tempted to go for a fresh. Is app save data saved to the app or user?

Anyone else notice how it installed an "IOS Updater" app, rather than doing it in the settings app?

There was a glitch in the software that caused issues with updating via the settings app. Next updates should be fine however.

It's explained in the first line of the OP. :)
