Apparently these drivers, specifically for enabling F@H, break F@H. They're suggesting you downgrade to 6.5 if you want to fold.

You ask if people are still using this driver. Is there anything newer / better out there?

not sure, i not bothered to try. official 6.9's are not that stable so hate to see what beta drivers are like

These were pretty much only released to enable FAH and they backfired and broke FAH. I'm sticking with 6.9s.

Use 6.5 if you like to help us crunch sing your X19xx.

With them being beta, and having a brand new PC, I don't want to screw the card up as everythings running sweet at the moment, using the supplied drivers (6.7)

But if theres a larger performance jump I'd be tempted.

BTW, if you install new ATI drivers, is the official ATI uninstall software any good (located at add/remove)?

I'd still use drivercleaner no matter what.

I'm new at all this.

Yeah its fine to use this, some people will swear by using Driver Cleaner aswell, but just using ATi's own uninstaller should suffice

I don't know as I was moving from Nvidia to ATI card / drivers this time...and made a bit of a fist of it!

They don't quite know why they broke in real-life seeing as they were in use during internal testing before the FAH-on-GPU client was released to public beta. The fact remains, however, that FAH doesn't work properly on 6.10 beta.

Apparently a fix is on the way though. It'll probably be released as 6.10 stable when it's ready.
