ive downloaded 6.3 cats yesterday, had a load of problems and had to wipe the entire ati stuff off my computer, disconnect the crossfire cables of the back, start it up with windows ones, put the drivers off the x1900xt crossfire cards disc again with old cats, then finally installed the latest drivers and got 14583 on 3d mark 05 and 7629 on 06 whcih is an improvement of about 200 marks on each, great i thought, but when i look in overdrive they are set to stock, thought that cant be right but oh well (on old one overdrive set to full) so i turn them up, and i got a lower score on 05, so turned them back, i dont know know if my cards are running stock or overclocked, id asume they are overclocked but not sure, dont want to re-enstall them again as it was a hassle in the first place, buy the way scores are with a single core cpu so 06 score is going quite well

You shouldnt need the ATI CD when upgrading to latest. I would reinstall the mobo drivers after uninstalling cats with driver cleaner in safemode. If u want to be pedantic, uninstall mobo drivers with driver cleaner too.

The only problem I had with installing cats "install standard vga drivers first" or similar was fixed by reinstalling the mobo drivers.

As for the clocks use ATItool to check clocks and remember there are different speeds for 2d/3d. Only problem with ATItool is some people get "lag" when using dynamic fan speed.
