6/7 seat PHEV

Just ordered an XC90 T8 Recharge Plus in primer grey. Expecting delivery in September which I’m told is a fairly accurate estimate. I thought about holding out for the EX90 but it will be very expensive and the over-reliance on touchscreen inputs to control pretty much everything puts me off.

Good choice, the XC90 is a great vehicle, ours has been fantastic, mile more coherent than the JLR equivalents.

It arrived today, 3 months earlier than anticipated! I’m not a fan of the colour but impressed with the rest of the car. I heard a lot of hate for the Android system but it is far more responsive and flexible than the Volvo Sensus system.

School run completed on electric power only. I’m a big fan of the silent running and driving dynamics.

I’ll report back with more observations as time goes on if anyone is interested.

Nice, the Volvo Diehards don't like the differences with Android, as a relative newb to Volvos and having cars with an average age of 16yrs, it's the future The fact I barely need to touch the screen for anything when driving suggests to me that the system works really well.

If they had some buttons for the PHEV system and an option to start in Pure like in other countries I'd hardly touch the infotainment at all as the voice is spot on.
