6 long beeps!

neighbours new Dell e520 (argh), has been knocked and on turning on gives nothing but fans and 6 long beeps

everything looks connected, any ideas for a quick check??

I suggest re-seating the memory if that doesn't sort it try re-seating the graphics card although I'm not sure what 6 long beeps actually means. I guess it uses a Dell BIOS which probably has a different signal of beeps than other BIOS'.

i thought 6 long beeps ment the system had no memory? so just reseat the memory, that might break the warrenty seal though so maybe ring dell about it?

took the side off, and although everything looked seated and fine, just undid each end and pressed in again

worked! Warranty should be ok, there is no sign of any seals being broken etc
