£60 Helmet?

I HAVE SKIPPED THREAD! I got a Caberg ummm, bugger, whats it called... V2:

Does not fit me, it's medium size (size above small), I got a tiny head and need XS so I have no use for this other than a paper weight, will sell it on if you like, still got the box and helmet bag (cloth bag). Worn once, not a single scratch, please for the love of god spend more than 100 quid on a lid if you don't buy mine, you do not want to skimp on a helmet.

Have a look here, see if the helmet you are looking at is listed, the more stars the better.

I was going to say that too. :)

If it was me risking myself on the roads then I'd buy the best that I could. Probably an HJC of some kind. If I couldn't afford it at the time then I just wouldn't go out on the bike. The same goes for decent leathers and gloves/gauntlets too.

Like I said, I don't mind chucking him my caberg, do not like the thought of someone out and about with a cheapo helmet only to com off and have it crack open like an egg shell followed shortly by the yolk being played by his head.

Sounds painful. If it fits him then I'd suggest him to buy yours. :)

He could possibly go to a bike shop and try that particular helmet on first, just to see if it fits snugly.

That's a nice helmet and would tempted, but not sure what size my head is and also whether or not to take up a track car project yet, but the advice I was given by my dad was "If your head's worth a dollar, spend a dollar" or something like that :p

Make sure you try on the helmet before you buy. No matter what size they quote it will sit differently on your head when you compare one with another. I personally find Bell fit much better than AGV but I own a Shark RSI D-Tone Hologram :)
