Hi All

Whats the best MB I can get for circa £60 to host a E5200??

I need it to take 4gb DDR2 and to be able to OC the CPU to 3ghz and stay stable on stock cooling.

Thanks for all / any recommendations.

MSi P35 Neo2 FR took my brothers E5200 upto 3.7Ghz prime stable. Edit; have 2 of these boards, other is running E6750 and thats close to 1800 FSB with stock mobo voltages & cpu 1.4v @ 3.6Ghz, both examples are decent showing for a sub £60 board.

Paid £40 inc for one a few weeks ago but as per usual the prices have risen again!

Most goodies built in and should run an E5200 at 3.0GHz easy! Got an E8400 in one running 3.6GHz rock solid stable no problem.

Asus P5KPL-AM iG31 is another like above that supposed to be a great sub £40 board iirc? That's if your 4GB DDR2 is 2x2GB...

I was gonna get that board myself as I liked the look of it (nice dark brown PCB) but it has just 10/100 LAN compared to the ASUS P5KPL-CM's 1000/100/10 LAN, apart from that I think they are the same board! :)
