Hi all,

I am hoping that someone may be able to help me. I'm looking at getting a new PC and see that OC have various complete systems for sale. Am I better off just buying one of those builds (my budget is 600-800), or getting OC to build a custom spec PC.

My questions are:

1. What pre built system would you recommend (I play WoW, LFD2, amongst other games)

2. IF I were to get OC to make a custom build, what components would you recommend?

Just for info, I will be using the PC to play game, watch movies and use Photo shop/Fireworks, etc. and will be using dual monitors. My existing PC is an Intel dual core 2.6 with ASUS PN-5 SLI Plus mothorboard and a 5770 graphics card, but its getting old now and I am hoping £600 would be sufficient to upgrade.

Any advice would be gratefully received.

What resolution is your screen? The 5770 is still a nice card if you're playing on anything below 1920x1080p.

Also do you want to reuse your current HDD/optical drive?

Something like this would be a good upgrade for your current system, the motherboard supports 8x/8x crossfire and when you run the 2 5770 cards together they'll happily eat through any new games:

If you've not done any building/upgrading before then don't worry, it's really not as difficult as people think and anyone here on the forums would be happy to give you advice and help if you need it.
